Cloud Storage

If you are using our cloud services your user data is stored in data centers managed by leading cloud storage provider IBM. User data from companies located in the US, Canada, or other parts of the Americas is stored in the San José, CA datacenter, while user data from European companies is stored in the Frankfurt data center in Germany.


All communication between your web browser and ONEPOINT’s cloud servers is encrypted via strong SSL encryption – authenticity is ensured via server-side certificates. While there is no such thing as an unbreakable system, hardware firewalls and regular security patches make sure that we provide a high level of security for our clients.


While we need to be able to send you important updates, billing, and status information regarding the services and software we provide, you are in full control of what other communication you want to receive from us. You can separately subscribe to and unsubscribe from promotional messages such as, e.g., the invitation to our annual user meeting, as well as our quarterly newsletter, the ONEPOINT Report.


You have the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For this we need your email address and your declaration that you agree with the subscription to the newsletter.

Data privacy notice for clients and users of our website

This notice provides you with information on how ONEPOINT Projects GmbH, Dietrich-Keller-Strasse 24/6, 8074 Raaba-Grambach, Austria (“we” or “us”), as a data controller, processes your personal data as our customer, employee of a customer or as a user of the website that is operated by us. We also want to use this opportunity to provide you with information on your rights in the context of our processing of your personal data.

1. Which of your data we process

In the course of your visit of our website we will collect the following of your information automatically:

In cases where we ask you for the provision of your personal data, there is no obligation to provide such data. However, if you do not provide your personal data, you will not be able to make use of our services or all the functions of this website.

2. Cookies

4. Purposes for which we process your data

  • to be able to make our service offering available to you and to answer any related requests.

5. Legal basis of the processing

We process your personal data on the basis of our prevailing legitimate interest according to Article 6(1)(f) General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) which is to achieve the purposes set out under point 4 above. If you are one of our clients, we may also process your data on the basis of the necessity for the performance of the contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

6. Transfer of your personal data

For the purposes set out above, we will transfer your personal data to the following recipients:

  • IT service providers that we use and
  • other ONEPOINT companies, as far as this is necessary for the provision of our services.

7. Retention periods

We will retain your data for a period of 28 months, in general. We will only retain your personal data for a longer period to the extend that this is necessary to investigate attacks of our website. We will store the personal data that we are collecting in the context of your use of our service offering for seven years. Furthermore we will keep your personal data as long as there are statutory retention obligations or potential legal claims are not yet time-barred.

8. Your rights in connection with your personal data

You have, among others, the rights (under the conditions set out in applicable law): (i) to check whether and what kind of personal data we hold about you and to request copies of such data, (ii) to request correction, supplementation or deletion of your personal data that is inaccurate or processed in non-compliance with applicable requirements, and (iii) to request us to restrict the processing of your personal data, (iv) in certain circumstances, to object for legitimate reasons to the processing of your personal data or to revoke consent previously granted for the processing, (v) to request data portability, (vi) to know the identities of third parties to which your personal data are transferred, and (vii) to lodge a complaint with the competent authority.
