EditorialDear Readers! The Q2 Onepoint Report is already overdue - the major reason for this is simple: It has been a very busy quarter for us at Onepoint:
By the way, you will be "seeing" a lot of Onepoint in Central Europe in the coming months: We will be at the I-KNOW conference in Graz in early September, at the DMS Expo (with our new partner icomedias) in Cologne in late September, at the Systems tradeshow (again together with IBM) in Munich in October and - very important - we will be sponsoring and hosting two boardroom sessions at Gartner's Project and Portfolio Management Summit in Prague in early December. I am looking forward to meeting many of you at one of our tradeshow booths or in one of the boardroom sessions at the PPM event in Prague! Best regards, Gerald Mesaric, CEO SolutionOnepoint Project 07 Basic/Professional EditionWe are happy to announce the availability of the Basic and Professional editions of Onepoint Project 07:
News
Open SourceOpen Solution AllianceWe joined the Open Solution Alliance as the first German-speaking independent software vendor (ISV) in April. The OSA is a vendor-neutral non-profit organization focusing on integration and best practices around open source business applications - or in the words of the OSA: "The Open Solutions Alliance consists of leading companies dedicated to making enterprise-class open software solutions work together. We help customers put open solutions to work by enabling application integration, certifying quality solutions, and promoting cooperation among open solutions developers. Membership is open to organizations that provide high-quality, business-ready open solutions." We already got a lot more attention from potential partners and customers in the US and Canada since joining the OSA. It is also both very interesting and fun to work with the other vendors in the OSA which include well-known Open Source companies such as Sourceforge, JasperSoft, CerntricCRM, Talend, as well as Unisys. I recently met Ross Turk of Sourceforge at LinuxTag in Berlin and I am already looking forward to meet with all the other guys in person at LinuxWorld from August 6 to 8 in San Francisco.
