Onepoint Software Launches Group Edition for Project Teams

The new version especially addresses the requirements of small project teams -

single user version available at a special price for a short term.

As of today Onepoint Software, one of the leading suppliers for enterprise project & portfolio management (PPM) software in Europe, is offering a project management solution especially designed for small teams: the Onepoint Project 8 Group Edition. The new edition is exclusively available in the Onepoint online store. The web-based tool is particularly convenient for teams working from different locations that need to stay up-to-date on project-relevant information at all times. The Group Edition optimizes teamwork and productivity and supports time management to ensure that project goals are reached on time. The new solution is designed for project teams consisting of up to five persons. The new software features the same award-winning concepts as the already existing Onepoint single user "Professional Edition" solution for the solo project manager and the "Enterprise Edition" for project and portfolio management on an enterprise level. It especially excels in its ease of use and fast deployment.

Onepoint Project 8 Group Edition supports the entire project lifecycle.

The Group Edition is a web-based server version for up to five project team members. Like its big sister, the Onepoint Project 8 Enterprise Edition, which is especially designed for enterprise-scale project and portfolio management, the Group Edition offers extensive functionalities throughout the entire project lifecycle. It integrates mind mapping, project planning, monitoring, controlling und reporting into a single, easy-to-use software solution. The project leadership system includes customizable project and resource types, configurable e-mail alerts as well as a complementary document management system.

"Especially small projects can easily get out of hand. In contrast to large-scale projects there are fewer resources, tasks and time-dependencies to coordinate. As a result, project managers are easily tempted to run the project without the support of professional software. Therefore, they frequently lose control of the time and money constraints", Gerald Mesaric, Onepoint Software founder and CEO explains. He has worked as a project and program manager himself for a long time. "Like all our other products, our new Group Edition is very user-oriented and practical. Yet it adapts brilliantly to the individual requirements of all different project types."

Onepoint Project 8 Professional Edition at a special price for a short period of time

To enable project managers to try out the software, Onepoint Project is offering the Professional Edition at the special price of EUR 99.- (plus VAT, where applicable) for a short time. Just like the Professional Edition, the new Group Edition that is available for EUR 499.-, comes with a user manual and e-mail installation support. Both editions are exclusively available at the Onepoint online store at:

Onepoint Project can be used across all major operating systems like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and IBM. New users can download free 30-day trial versions at
